Old Olive House

A beautifully restored stone villa with infinity pool and sea views, set in our family olive grove — minutes from miles of unspoiled Peloponnese beaches.

The House

Stone, olive trees and the Ionian Sea

Old Olive House is a traditional stone villa, painstakingly restored and set within our own working olive grove in the hills above Zacharo. From the infinity pool, the view runs over silver-green trees down to the sea — and at the end of the day, the sun sets directly over the water.

The main house sleeps six across three large bedrooms, each opening to its own private terrace. The master has a four-poster bed, a freestanding bath and an en-suite shower. A separate two-bedroom annex sleeps four more, making the house ideal for two families or a group of friends travelling together.

This is the quiet Peloponnese: long, undeveloped beaches, mountain villages, Ancient Olympia half an hour away — and very few crowds.

"Perfect for our two families. The annex gave everyone space, and the beach five minutes away was practically empty in August."

"Beautifully restored, immaculately kept, and the sunsets from the terrace are unforgettable. We're already planning our return."

The olive grove at Old Olive House

Your Hosts

A family house, looked after like one

Old Olive House has been in our family's care for many years, and we've hosted guests here since 2008. Everything about the restoration — the stonework, the terraces, the grove — was done to make a house we love staying in ourselves.

Ellie, our house manager, lives ten minutes away. She personally welcomes every guest, keeps the house immaculate, and is on hand throughout your stay with recommendations for beaches, tavernas and day trips you won't find in a guidebook.
